Shravan Shroff
With active association with various angel funding platforms including VentureNursery, Indian Angel Network and Mumbai Angel Network, Shravan has participated in more than 75 angels or startup funding ventures from 2011 to 2020. Oyo Rooms, ZipDial, Tagbox, FarEye, Karza, Uniphore are just a few of his many illustrious startup investments. He has been part of various Investment Committees and been named Chief Mentor, Lead Investor etc.
In 2013, Shravan co-founded VentureNursery, India’s first angel-based accelerator, that incubates and starts up companies in various domains. Another powerhouse victory was when he incubated and accelerated over 25 companies. Most notably was his association with Oyo Rooms, with the last round fundraised from Softbank, on a post money basis of USD 650m. Shravan’s list of achievements is only increasing day by day.
Nitin Agarwal
Nitin Agarwal is a Chartered Accountant who has founded multiple businesses in the sphere of International Trade since 1988. His current focus is on Espouse Capital Pvt. Ltd. He has a passion for investments and has been an active investor for the past 35 years. He has experience with various asset classes like equity, real estate, venture funds, mutual funds, debt etc. and continuously views options for sound investments with suitable risk return profiles. Since 2008, he has been an active angel investor, participating in various angel networks including Indian Angel Network, Mumbai Angel Network, VentureNursery among others.
Nitin has also been on various investment and selection committees. To date he has invested in more than 100 Startups in India, Singapore, USA and UK. Many of these companies have achieved significant scale eg. OYO Rooms, Greendust, Tonbo Imaging, Uniphore, Fareye, Sugar etc. His active mentoring of these startups by virtue of being an investor or lead investor has led him to developing excellent networks within the ecosystem. Under his mentorship, the startups have grown their business and raised multiple round of private equity or venture capital funds, proving him to be a capable mentor who leads from the front.
